White House Faith Adviser Defends Sharia Remarks
A senior adviser to the U.S. government, Dalia Mogahed, does not regret her statements supportive of Sharia but does regret going on the tv program Muslimah Dilemma: last month, she had said that “The majority of women around the world associate gender justice, or justice for women, with sharia compliance.”
