UK broadcaster Channel 4 has commissioned a new documentary on the prevalence of female genital mutilation (FGM) in the country.

The hour-long film will focus on the efforts of campaigner Leyla Hussein, co-founder of anti-FGM charity Daughters of Eve, as she lobbies the Home Office to assume responsibility for eliminating the practice.
