We also have exciting updates from our team on the ground. First, we are pleased to report that just few days ago an important piece of legislation went into effect in New Jersey. This legislation means better protection for survivors of honor violence – a huge victory that would not have been possible without your support. We also share with you our insights from a recent meeting held by the Department of Health and Human Services on female genital mutilation in the US. Finally, we give you a bird’s eye view of what it’s like to steer the ship at the AHA Foundation with a day in the life of our Executive Director.
