A film centered around the idea of honor killings in British Pakastani families premiered in the UK earlier this year after showing at Cannes Film Festival. The film is Daniel Wolfe’s “Catch Me Daddy.” Peter Bradshaw’s review finds that while there are flaws in the piece, specifically in terms of the use of clichés, the film is important in bringing the issue of honor killings to the big screen.
