Ayaan Hirsi Ali: ‘Indirectly, I was being set up for murder’

In an interview with the British Guardian, Ayaan describes how the Dutch government, which had encouraged her to speak out, removed her police protection: “I thought that was disgusting because, indirectly, it’s setting you up for murder.”
