West Midlands (UK) cops foil honour killings
Police have foiled more than 25 potential honour killings in the West Midlands in the last year, the Sunday Mercury can reveal: Detective Sergeant Wendy Bird, strategic lead on forced marriages at West Midlands Police, said her team has dealt with more than 200 honour crime cases in the last 12 months.
