Death of Mayar Mohamed Mousa after FGM Operation

There has been a worldwide outcry against female genital mutilation (FGM) following the death of Mayar Mohamed Mousa earlier this week after her operation. The exact cause of her death remains unknown. While FGM was banned in Egypt in 2008 the practice remains widespread.
